Yes, it happened – Manchester’s first Wellness festival took place and it was epic.
Firstly I was blown away by the venue – FiveFourStudios in Salford – and how it never seemed to run out of space no matter how many stairs I climbed. The space was used perfectly for the festival – the downstairs main room was my favourite, filled with good people and good coffee. Float’s signature colours and logo were everywhere I looked and the team had really helpful put up signs for the different areas: Inspire, Engage, Move, Play and Restore – each room with it’s own unique theme and activity.

I wish there could have been four of me so that I could have attended each workshop and talk. There was so much content, so much to do and so many lovely people there for the exact same reason – to help their well being and mental health.
I cannot wait until Float Festival 2019. If Float 2018 is anything to go by it’s going to be epic.
