Brews and Busy Bees – June 2018

June has been a busy month at ECBC!

The team is growing, enabling us to expand what we do and for me to think more about where I want this beautiful little community to go. I’ve been genuinely touched at how much you guys have engaged with us on social media and I can’t wait to see where we can take this together.

We’ve also set up this glorious website! Our own little corner of the internet where we will be sharing more information about our growing services, advice and other fun stuff on our blog, and hopefully creating a point of call for anyone who needs us. We’re still working hard to make this platform function as well as it can, so keep checking back as we add more stuff.

There’s been some exciting conversations happening with local businesses, people and charities about a couple of upcoming get-togethers we are planning. We don’t want to say too much yet but sit tight, more information is coming soon.

On a personal note, I have spent a couple of days/hours volunteering at Oxfam UK and Anxiety UK. Volunteering is an amazing way to build confidence, meet people and just offer a bit of focus. I am not currently working full time at the moment and volunteering provides a bit of well-needed structure to my day, as well as giving back to the local community.

Coming up in July

Next month we are having a little meet-up at Chorlton Water Park (information for the event can be found here)- just a nice casual walk along the canal and drink in Jackson’s Boat pub. We hope to see your lovely faces there!

Don’t forget to follow us on social media, we’d love to hear from you!

Look after yourselves.
